I woke up today only to find the weather turning bad, it wasn't a good sign as I planned to cycle first thing in the day. Well it eventually rained and I stayed home to clean up my room.

My day brightened up when I got a call from Evonne that she wanted to pass me some Chocolate Tarts that she had made. I only have 2 words for the tarts ; Absoultely Awesome. Not only was the presentation well decorated but the taste was fantastic, not too sweet and bitter.
While I was grabbing my camera to take some shots of the tarts, I saw my dog lying under the dining table F L A T, haha that's his favourite pose when he's tired and I managed to snap a shot of him.. Isn't he cute?

Went to cycle in the evening with Evonne and had dinner in Lot 1. The End :)

I went up to KL during the weekend to attend my cousin's wedding, it was a tiring trip as it was only a 1 night stay and the traffic jam in the city was pretty bad due to a protest going on thus we arrived at 5.30pm after a 3.5 hours delay. I met Cavin and his GF after the dinner and he brought me to Quantro (A Club opposite KLCC), its a pretty nice club although the dance floor was literally a human barricade(I HAD TO SQUEEZE MY WAY THROUGH). We sat at the Winter section of the bar where the seats and tables were made of ice hehe.. I wished I had photos of that place but I did not bring my camera for this trip. Well here are some photos taken from my sister's Fujifilm Z200D

SteelSeries Singapore Pro Shootout 2009

I went down to Cyberdome today to support XTC for the competition, I was really glad that they had managed to apply whatever they have learned for the past few trainings today. Although they lost to Singapore's Counter Strike champions Team Titans, they still got the second placing after beating various top teams from Singapore thus securing the second position.

Kudos to all of you XTC, you guys deserve it.

Well I'm finally 20 years old brand new year ahead for me. I celebrated my Birthday at Aburiya with my family, its my favourite Japanese BBQ restaurant hehe.. The tiger prawns were extremely good and I would definitely return to that place to celebrate sometime soon. I went down to Chjimes after dinner to have a drink with Xiang , Luke, Derek, Michael and Xuan

I visited my Counterstrike team in Cathay today as it was a long time since I've met them and we caught Red Cliff 2 after their match. I really enjoyed meeting them after such a long time as we had a lot to catch up.

I started trying out the Rapid Flash function of my Nikon SB-800 Speedlight and took a couple of shots with it. Well after doing some studies on this mode of flash, I manage to take this shot and probably try more of it later :)

Went up to KL and Genting during my last week of holiday, I just popped by to say hi to my relatives and did a little shopping. Well its my first time going up to Genting since I was a kid ( 10 years ago?), it looks too commercialized now and it wasn't as relaxing as it used to be as compared to back then.

Helping Sheralin & Friends with photography

I spent the evening to help Sheralin and her friend, Diann to take some nice shots of the Singapore Flyer. Well its my first time going there and it really has a spectacular architechure.

Well ok.. So I was supposed to lend Sheralin my Nikon D40x to take the photos for her assignment, well everything looked ok until she tried to turn on my camera.
Sheralin - "Eh how to use? How come nothing come out??"
Oh my god how stupid of me, I forgot to put in the battery after charging my camera!!!! Ok fine thats really retarded of me so we had to make use of Diann's Canon 450d, well its a pretty fine camera but a little slightly different from Nikon thats all.. BUT photography is about your skill not the camera!

Well I took a couple of snap shots from my handphone though, better than nothing... I hope Diann sends me the photo from her camera =)

Grandma's B'day

Went to KL over the long Deepavali weekend to celebrate my Grandma's 83rd Birthday. Erm I stayed in my cousin's place at Bandar Utama which was quite some distance away from the restaurant (near KL Twin Towers), the transport system kinda sucked though... I had to queue up to purchase the train tickets via the counter manually as all the ticketing machines were down ( the queue was freaking long ).

Bleh so I couldn't wait and decided to take the taxi instead... OH and guess what upon reaching the taxi stand that says "PLEASE SAY NO TO TOUTING, INSIST ON TAXI METERS" the taxi driver quoted me RM15(normal trip = RM6) upon naming my destination (Apparently they can't read english or they just can't be bothered with the law)!!!

First of all, doesn't this person look like a giant size Hello Kitty LOL! Well anyway... SP Photographers hosted a seminar by Ray Chua this evening. He's a very accomplished photographer and works as a photographer for the Chinese newspaper "Lianhe Zao Bao"... Learned quite some interesting photography stuff from his presentations and his black & white photography is absolutely amazing... I really wish I could take photographs that are towards his standard!

Went to Jurong Bird Park with Gertrude, Param and Teck Poh today to teach them stuff on photography. We were actually supposed to meet Jasmine @ Raffles Places at 9am but ended up going to Jurong Bird Park because of the nice weather... Watched the Hawk show and another one (Forgot what it was called) where the parrot talked LOL.

I spent a week in Tokyo during my Semester break, it was an awesome trip!!! Although there was a language barrier hahahahah! Bought quite a few stuff back and many delicious Japanese biscuits!!! I'll post more pictures for my trip later though!!
